ABOUT

Hi there! I'm a Computer Science and Mathematics student at Northeastern University, and I love logic and art.

My friends always see me as an optimistic, kaleidoscopic, and self-motivated person who’s always detail-oriented and sensitive to numbers. It’s my belief that numbers make up this world. I love to make sure that numbers around me are accurate. My biggest motivation is seeing the progress of my work. Seeing that what I did helps people and makes a real impact makes me very happy and energetic.

My long-term goal is to become an actuary, a profession that need strong attention to detail and continuous learning. Therefore, over the past three years, I have worked hard to build that foundation. I’ve been on the Dean’s List every semester, I worked as a teaching assistant for Probability and Statistics to strengthen my statistical knowledge, and I interned as a data analyst at an insurance company, where I practiced my skills in data auditing and analysis with Excel.

I’m especially drawn to the beauty of mathematics. I have a strong interest in NONCOMMUTATIVE ALGEBRA and GEOMETRY. I’ve always found graphs, polygons, curves, and simple patterns cute. My favorite equation is EULER’s FORMULA because it brings together seemingly distant concepts like trigonometry and the complex plane in one breathtakingly elegant expression.
